Q. I don’t like using my credit card on the Internet, can I order by phone or fax?
A. ABSOLUTELY! We use PayPal and Authorize.net, two very large, reputable, third party credit card processors who provides our clients with the highest level of security on line.

We regard the security of the information that you provide to us very important and confidential. We use the SSL protocol to protect the security of your online order information. This technology encrypts your order information to protect it from being decoded by anyone other than our company. Once you enter the checkout page your computer will begin communicating with our server in secure mode. The way for you to tell when you are in secure mode is by checking your address bar. The "http" in the web address will be replaced by "https". If your browser does not support SSL, you can get an upgrade at Microsoft's or Netscape's home page. Either way you choose is fine with us, but please take note that since most of our banners are custom made, payment is due when you place an order. If you should change your mind ANYTIME before you approve your design, for ANY reason, we immediately give a 100% refund, no questions asked, no problem!

Q. What different sizes do the banners come in?
A. If we haven’t got it……you don’t need it because we offer almost any size that’s possible! We are a custom banner company and we produce banners as small as 2’ x 4’, to billboard size up to a football field! Special orders only excite us!

Q. Do you have a minimum order?
A. No, we do not have a minimum order on any of our graphics products.

Q. Do the banners have holes for hanging?
A. YES, your banner will come to you ready to be installed that day. We have grommets (metal reinforced holes) every 2-3 feet for maximum support.

Q. Do the banners have slits for wind?
A. We do not normally put wind slits in our banners because our banners are heavy and hold up perfectly in regular to moderate winds. However, our first recommendation is to use bungee cords instead of rope. Because of their give and take, bungee cords relieve a lot of the strain from heavier winds. Once you receive your banners(s) you can always cut wind slits in yourself with a utility or exact-o knife. Please keep in mind; if you hang your banner(s) the proper way, and don’t expose them to gale force winds, wind slits should not be an issue.

Q. Can I get a second color?
A. ABSOLUTELY, you can even get a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th.....we are a digital printer, the printer is going to put a color down and doesn't care what color it is!  Get creative, make your banner POP!

Q. Can I get logos or graphics?
A. YES, you have the option of a text only banner or car magnet or you can use our Custom Banner Section to create a custom banner with any artwork you may have.  Need an image?  Go to istock.com and do a search. Be sure to write down the file number down for our reference.  Please be advised there will be an additional charge for the image.

Q. Can I have a two-sided banner?
A. YES! Please note the cost would be double the cost of a single sided banner. When placing your order please click the box indicating not only the size, but also that you also require it to be both sides. Both sides must say the same thing. However, if you have directional arrows, we will change the arrows accordingly.

Q. Do you do vertical print banners?
A. YES WE DO. Our website is setup to handle horizontal print orders however we can print vertical banners, please CONTACT US for pricing and size information.

Q. What is a “proof”?
A. A PROOF is a way of ensuring that we have all of your information exactly how you want it. Having your final approval by checking the copy, type, color and design layout of your proof will ensure both parties that you will be extremely pleased with the final product. It is an integral part of our customer service to catch any errors or miscommunications in the proofing process, not after the job is completed and delivered! BallyHOO Banners will produce a proof for your review either online via our online proof technology or if your order is over the phone we will email you a proof. 

PROOFS include 2 revisions from the original. All additional proofs are subject to a $35 art fee, please consider your changes accordingly.

Q. Why do I need a proof if I’ve already given you everything?
A. BallyHOO Banners takes great pride in producing your order to your exact specifications. Your approval on a final proof is our assurance that you have looked over every aspect of our work and approve its accuracy. If you download information to us different output devices process digital information using a variety of processing languages. Your approval will provide assurance that the output device you used was correctly interpreted and correctly processed by our programs.

Q. What if I don’t like the design on the proof?
A. NOT A PROBLEM! We are happy to take any suggestion and make the changes to your design and post another proof; we want your complete satisfaction.

Q. How long does it take to get my banner or magnets?
A. We usually ship your banner 2 to 3 business days after we receive your proof approval. You should expect to receive your banner 5-7 business days after placing your order; it all depends upon how quickly you approve your proof and which shipping method you choose.

Q. How much does it cost to ship?
A. Shipping will be calculated within our shopping cart and it is based on your order and shipping location. We offer these shipping options.

Q. How do I know when my banner has shipped and how can I track it?
A. When FedEx picks up your banner, they will email you a tracking number and estimated delivery day.

Q. How do I store and take care of my banner(s)?
A. Always make sure your banner is rolled up with the PRINT SIDE OUT! Don’t store in extreme heat, even inside your car can reach a very high temperature, so don’t leave your banner(s) in your car for extended periods of time. 


Should your banner(s) get wet during use, make sure it is completely dry before storing it.

Q. What are your file format procedures?
A. We accept graphic files only from the latest versions of Adobe Illustrator (.ai and .eps), and Adobe Photoshop (.pdf, .tif and .eps.). Corel and QuarkXPress files need to be saved as .eps prior to sending to BallyHOO Banners. All fonts must be outlined or included. To view our Artwork Requirements in their entirety, CLICK HERE

Q. What if I don’t have my artwork in a .pdf or .eps format?
A. Our designers can take your artwork and convert it to one of these formats. Because this takes additional design time, there will be a design charge, with a minimum of 1 hour.

Q. What is Vector art?
A. Vector art is similar to line art. It allows the image to be blown up proportionally.

Q. What is a raster image?
A. A raster image allows us to cut out an image outline for window graphics, decals and floor graphics. A raster image affords us the opportunity to add gradients, soft meshes and textures to an existing image resulting in a better design.

Q. What programs allow me to save in vector formats?
A. Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw are the two major software programs that are used to create vector art. Photoshop can export Illustrator paths, and some other programs have the ability to export their paths to Illustrator formats. To view our Artwork Requirements - CLICK HERE.

Q. When should I save a vector image, and when do I save as a raster image?
A. A vector format is used when the image is made with paths and fills. Raster is used with photos and all other miscellaneous full color images.

Please keep in mind there will be times when your artwork will have both raster and vector images. When it does, ONLY SAVE the artwork EPS or PDF!!!!

Q. What if my image doesn’t have enough resolution, and I don’t have it in any other form? What can we do?
Your banner or magnet is only as good as your photo. We cannot be held responsible for low-resolution images. Try doing a Web search using your favorite search engine for an image or photo that will work for you. Use the keywords “royalty free photos” and see what you come up with. Just about every type of image imaginable is available for purchase and personal use. Be sure to read and comply with the licensing agreements and copyright issues. When you purchase an image, make certain it is the highest resolution version of the image for large-format printing like ours. Here’s a handy checklist that will save us all time!

___I have used RGB for my Photoshop files, and specified PMS colors in my Illustrator files.
